Amsterdam, The Netherlands - May 2011

Mum and Daughter long weekend away.

Started off with quite a fright! I called my mum to say I was 5 mins away in the taxi (picking her up to go to the airport) and I actually woke her up with my call!!! If you know my mum, you would never believe this!!! We still made it :)

We had a great time. Spent most of it getting lost trying to find our way back to our hotel as everywhere looks identical with a canal running alongside it!

We visited the Red Light District, during the day LOL! We took a brilliant canal tour and generally had a good laugh reminiscing about family history!
